Music 101
Interact with an entertainment professional as you learn the integral role that music plays at Disneyland® Resort, in Disney films and in the world at large. Then test your knowledge with fun, interactive exercises.
Created for beginning music students, this 90-minute interactive workshop examine the components of music, how to readh and compose music, and how music creates the immersive worlds of Disney Parks. Through the unique and inspirational approach of prfessional Clinicians, students are encouraged to get on their feet and take th first, fun steps toward becoming true musicians.
Music 201
Intermediate and advanced students take an in-depth analysis of the integral role that music plays at the Disneyland® Resort, in Disney films and in the world at large.
This workshop takes a deeper look at the role of music as it contributes to the immersive worlds of Disney Parks. Through artistic sound analysis, a musical scavenger hunt throughout Disneyland® Park, and a creative review of the hunt's results, students gain a unique, hands-on comprehension of how music can create atmospheric tone, emotion, time and place.
* Minimum of 20 participants.Minimum age is 11 years old.
Performance Lab
Put on a fantastic show every time by mastering key concepts important for any performer or ensemble as a professional entertainer guides your group through provisional exercises.
Created for performers of all abilities, this 90-minute workshop's goal is to achieve gratifying consistent performances for any ensemble. Led by professional entertainers, the course takes students through fun, improvisational exercises to magify key performance concepts, and ultimately rewards them with the tools to make both individual and collective performances shine.
* Minimum of 15 participants. Minimum age is 9 years old.
Soundtrack Session: Instrumental
Sight-read and record music from Disney films in a simulated film-scoring as you learn the critical role each member of a concert band or orchestra plays in delivering a pitch-perfect performance.
Intrumental students experience the excitement of a working recording studio, where professional clinicians present sight-reading techniques, performance concepts, and the entire process for laying down music tracks. Taight by industry composers, arrangers, conductors or studio musicians, the 90-minute workshop culminates with a reveal of the students' hard work - a screening of their recorded score, set the the original Disney film footage!
Soundtrack Session: Jazz
Master key concepts of improvisation, jazz styles and rhythm, and experience what it's like to work as a professional musician as you record music from Disney films in a simulated film-scoring atudio.

Disney's Show Choir
Rehearse and perform a full production number with vocals and choreography and get feedback to help fine-tune future performances. This workshop is designed for show choirs and musical theater groups.
Intermediate to advanced show choirs and musical theatre groups explore the challenges of learning and performing a full production number in the high-energy course. Taught by industry show directors and choreographers, teh 90-minute workshop builds from rehearsals to a final performance, which is recorded and screened for review.
